Bolster: Micarta and G10

A bolster made of a combination of Micarta and G10 is located between the blade and the handle. The image of Gotur comes from ancient tales about the forest guardian-observer. One who does not interfere unnecessarily and does not allow anything unnecessary. This character formed the basis of the knife: restrained, collected, devoid of ostentatiousness. Gotur is conceived as a bushcraft tool that supports a careful and balanced approach to working in nature.

D2 blade: working endurance

The blade of the Gotur knife is made of D2 steel with a hardness of 60–61 HRC. This is a high-carbon steel that has proven itself well in knives for regular use due to its high wear resistance and stable cutting edge retention. D2 is suitable for working with wood, products, leather, fibrous and dense materials. The blade does not require constant sharpening and retains its working edge under moderate loads, which is especially important if you need a reliable knife for hiking or a long stay in nature.
