Most BPS knives feature a true Scandi grind, which is best sharpened by laying the bevel flat against the stone and maintaining consistent contact across the entire edge — no secondary bevel needed.

- Use a whetstone or diamond stone.
- Maintain the original bevel angle (usually around Scandi Scandi20° total).
- Finish with a stropping step to polish and refine the edge.
